Preparing for Installation A. Gather the Required Tools and Components: Intel Core i9 CPU Compatible motherboard Liquid cooler Thermal paste (if necessary) Screwdriver Thermal compound remover (optional) Cleaning cloth (lint-free) Anti-static wrist strap (recommended) B. Prepare a Clean and Static-Free Workspace: Clear a well-lit and spacious area. Remove any static-inducing materials. Place an anti-static mat or surface. C. Read the Manuals and Documentation: Familiarize yourself with the manuals of the CPU, motherboard, and liquid cooler. Understand any specific installation instructions or precautions. II. Installing the Motherboard A. Select a Compatible Motherboard: Choose a motherboard that supports the Intel Core i9 CPU. Verify socket compatibility and power requirements. B. Prepare the Case: Open the computer case following the manufacturer's instructions. Remove any unnecessary components obstructing the motherboard installation. C. Install the CPU Socket Cover (if applicable): Some motherboards come with a protective cover on the CPU socket. Remove the cover before installing the CPU. D. Install the Standoffs (if needed): Place the standoffs in the appropriate positions within the case. Align them with the motherboard's mounting holes. E. Carefully Place the Motherboard in the Case: Gently lower the motherboard into the case. Align the mounting holes with the standoffs or case studs. F. Secure the Motherboard to the Case: Use screws or other fasteners provided with the case. Tighten the screws until the motherboard is firmly secured. G. Connect the Power Supply Cables to the Motherboard: Connect the main 24-pin power cable to the motherboard. Attach any additional power cables required by the motherboard. III. Preparing the CPU and Cooler A. Remove the CPU from its Packaging: Open the CPU packaging with care. Handle the CPU by its edges to avoid touching the sensitive pins or contacts. B. Carefully Align the CPU with the Socket: Locate the CPU socket on the motherboard. Identify the alignment notches or markers on both the CPU and socket. C. Gently Lower the CPU into the Socket: Align the CPU's notches or markers with the socket. Slowly lower the CPU into the socket, ensuring it sits properly. D. Check for clearance and fan placement options. C. Mount the Radiator and Fans to the Case: Securely mount the radiator to the case using screws or brackets. Attach the fans to the radiator following the liquid cooler's instructions. D. Connect the Radiator Fans to the CPU Fan Header: Locate the CPU fan header on the motherboard. Connect the fan cables to the CPU fan header. E. Connect the Pump to the Power Supply: Connect the pump cable from the liquid cooler to an available power supply connector. V. Connecting Cables and Components A.
