| Video Discription | This video will help you learn how to operate the windshield wipers and vehicle lights on your 2022 Ram 1500 DT. Transcript [music playing] The windshield wipers are controlled with the multifunction lever, to the left of the steering column. The intermittent setting gives you single wiping cycles with an adjustable delay in between. The delay is at maximum when you turn the control knob up to the first detent, and the interval decreases as you rotate the knob upward. Turn the knob to the first detent past intermittent for continuous, low-speed operation, and all the way up for high-speed. To use the washer, push in the knob on the end of the lever. Washer fluid will spray, and the wiper will run for two or three cycles after the knob is released. If equipped, the rain sensing wiper feature senses moisture on the windshield and automatically activates the wipers for you. This feature can be enabled through the Uconnect system. Use the multifunction lever’s wiper delay settings to adjust the feature’s sensitivity. Wiper delay position one is the least sensitive and position four is the most sensitive. The feature disables in freezing temperatures. You’ll find the headlight control switch left of the steering column on the instrument panel. Turn the control to the first position for parking lights. Turn to the second position for headlights. You can also turn the control to the Auto position. In this position the headlights will turn on or off automatically based on the surrounding light levels. The dimmer control switch controls your instrument panel lights. With the parking lights or headlights on, or with the switch in the Auto position, rotate the right dimmer control upward to increase the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Rotate the left dimmer control upward to adjust the interior and ambient light levels. If equipped with cargo lights, a trailer hitch light, or trailer spotter lamps, you can turn them on or off by pushing the cargo lights button on the lower half of the headlight switch. To activate the front fog lights, turn on the parking lights, low beam headlights or put the switch in the Auto position, then push in the headlight control switch.
