| Video Discription | Continuing through the decade, these are my picks for favourite movies of 1987. This year built on 1986 as the real maturity of the 80's look, and soon it would unfortunately change to the 90's as all things must continue to evolve. One of the interesting trends I see is more depth in casting in these movies. Instead of a leading duo and a bunch of day players, you see incredible depth of casts. Most of these movies are 4, 5, or 6 deep in star power, plus aligned with a great director or producer. Although I listed 15 honourable mentions in the video there are even more movies that are worth a mention in a real deep year; Adventures in Babysitting Angel Heart Best Seller Dragnet The Fourth Protocol Hamburger Hill Hiding Out LBJ: The Early Years Lionheart Nadine A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors No Man's Land Raising Arizona The Running Man The Secret of My Success Stakeout Summer School 3 Men and a Baby I also didn't want to take up time with the list of terrible and disappointing movies from the year but they are; Terrible Assassination Flowers in the Attic Lung foo fung wan Slam Dance Disappointing; Spaceballs Police Academy 4 Light of Day Throw Momma From the Train And two overrated movies of the year (in my opinion of course); Fatal Attraction Empire of the Sun Any movies you loved or hated that I missed?
