Unlike most miter saws which are only designed to cut wood, the Kapex has a variable speed capability, allowing you to match the speed of the blade with the requirements of the material. This saw comes with a FastFix blade changing system for quick and easy blade changes and an angle transfer device that virtually eliminates complex angle calculations by copying the angle directly from the wall to the saw. Other features include: effective dust extraction for 91% efficiency, dual line lasers that accurately define the cut area for precise cut placement and durable easy to read scales with fine micro bevel adjustment. With a cutting capacity of a 12" saw, the Kapex is capable of cutting molding almost 4-3/4" tall in the special cutting position with a crown nested capacity of 6-5/8". It is also designed to fit the MFT/3-Kapex table. Includes high quality 60 tooth carbide blade, angle transfer device, hold down clamp, and wrench. |
