| Video Discription | Shout to my husband Chris for completing this insane thing called the #75HARD Challenge. For those of you who don’t know what this challenge is, it’s a personal challenge where every day for 75 days you follow a strict diet of your choosing, no alcohol, workout for 45 minutes twice a day (one of them being outside), read 10 pages of nonfiction, drink a gallon of water, and take a daily progress photo of yourself. And here’s the kicker with #75Hard, if you miss ONE thing, you have to go back to Day One. Like me, you’re probably thinking, “Why on earth would someone want to do something like this?” I asked Chris this exact question and he said he did to prioritize stability in his life and lock in a super solid morning routine of getting up early and starting his day off right. I wanted to share this video with you, not only to publicly congratulate Chris and my friend Carey Lohrenz, but to also point out that taking on a personal challenge is one of the fastest and most effective ways to jump start changing your life. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, scared, or beaten down, take on a personal challenge. If you want to shake up your life, you have to shake up what you’re doing on a day to day basis. One of the challenges I did recently is to stop drinking for several months. I can’t tell you how beneficial it was to take on a challenge and build the discipline to keep a promise to myself over the course of several months. Any challenge will work, from #Whole30, to #DryJanuary, to cutting out gluten or sugar, or just walking every day outside for 10 days in a row. I am SO proud of you, Chris.
