| Video Discription | Welcome to the daily life of a monk. When men come to Thailand and ordain to become Buddhist monks, one of the biggest changes that he has to adjust to is where he sleeps. Leaving behind the comfortable life, he transitions to living the simple life. This can be reflected in the way he sleeps. Instead of sleeping on a comfortable bed, he must adapt himself to sleeping in a small brown tent. The monk gives up his possessions and just has his tent, 2 sets of robes, and a thin mat. This is the simple life of monkhood. And in the process of having less, he slowly begins to transform. While he has less materially, he gains more spiritually. In monkhood, we have a saying, we need to: talk less, eat less, sleep less, and meditate more. I hope you enjoy this video.
