I’d like to thank Mrs. Subhashree Thanickachalam to have initiated a series called QFR (Quarantine From Reality) that focusses on performances of famous Tamil film songs with all insight one could ask for. I was elated when she asked me to play bass for Ponvaanam, which was part of QFR. What you hear is completely re-recorded by my good buddy and a wonderful pianist, Shyam Benjamin along with Venkat on Percussions, Kumar on Flute and Sriranjani on Vocals.
