| Video Discription | The world is today tackling the new corona virus pandemic and coming to terms with lockdowns and forms of activity restrictions. However it is also bringing us an opportunity to spend a great deal of time to be with ourselves, to look at life in an entirely different perspective. Not being accustomed to so much of time on our hands we tend to feel constricted in some way. This had given me an idea to utilise some of my video footage and make a few videos. In doing that and reviewing them I found the ordinary mind and consciousness expanding in a pleasant manner. I decided to upload them (over the next 10 days or so) in a small series called the 'Çovid Relief Series'. Hope the devotees of Bhagavan Ramana, Arunachala and nature can also find some merit in them. As the first video in the series, I am posting a video of Adi Annamalai Temple, in the village of the same name in Tiruvannamalai. This temple is also known as the Adhi Annamalai temple or the ancient temple. It is believed Lord Brahma himself had constructed this temple to worship Arunachaleswara, on the Northwest side of the Hill The temple itself is small in size (about one acre) compared to the gigantic 25 acre plot on which the main Arunachaleswara temple is built on the eastern slopes in the town. This was a much neglected temple for a long period of time, until 1990s when a Sadhu (devotee of Bhagavan Ramana) undertook the massive work of renovation with the help of public donations. Today many more devotees visit the temple, especially during 'Giripradakshinas' regularly and in thousands on full moon pradakshinas. Bhagavan Ramana during his younger days of doing Giripradakshinas used to camp in this temple, 2-3 days at times.
