| Video Discription | Home-made step up transformer 20kV, the transformer is wound on a piece of 15mm PVC pipe with a ferrite rod inserted for the core. There's about 1000 turns of 40AWG insulated copper wire for the secondary coil which is covered in electrical tape. The primary is 7 turns of thick wire from house wiring cable.
