| Video Discription | In this video I’m exploring a little bit into alternative fashion and its history! I know I was not able to elaborate a lot on several aspects of the history of fashion that did affect alternative fashion. I do realize that fashion has always had a degree of self-expression to it. And I know I’m overlooking the affluent populations throughout history who saw fashion as art and probably had complete access to resources for dressing alternatively. Instead I wanted to consider the common folk, the average people, and the role that alternative fashion did or did not have in their society. Still, I barely skimmed the surface. There are a lot of historical alternative fashion “groups” that I didn’t get into from the past century. But the research and exploration I did for this video was still quite fun!
