It's a proposal to take 30% of the land in Salt Lake City (16,000 acres) and develop it into a massive shipping and receiving center. Salt Lake City residents are going beyond protesting, they are rioting. Gary Herbert went so far to call the protestors "terrorists". But what do you call an action to circumvent and usurp city government, city leaders? What do you call an action where state leaders bow down to special interests allowing them to essentially take a big chunk of our city to build a shipping center that nobody wants? Rocky Anderson is not afraid to point out how this move was highly illegal and he is in support of Mayor Jackie Biskupski's move to file a lawsuit against the state.
