With the Interstellar soundtrack, Hans Zimmer put the organ into the public consciousness on a level that I don’t think has ever been seen before. No Time For Caution is my favourite piece to play at the moment, partly because I love the way it shows off the huge variety of colour the organ has to offer. It’s also an excuse to use one of my favourite stops on The Royal Albert hall organ – the bass drum! When I play with my feet, if I’ve drawn the bass drum stop, there’s a beater inside the organ that plays the bass drum.
