The terminus of the Grindelwald-First cable car is located in the First, which is reached after a 25-minute ride from Grindelwald. The footbridge of the First Cliff Walk rises 45 metres above the cliff and the footbridge spans the entire First Abyss. The hike to Bachalpsee takes a little less than an hour and rewards you with the magnificent view. The lake lies at 2265 metres above sea level and consists of two parts separated by a small dam.
