| Video Discription | 20/05/2018 This is a good example of how badgers behave when they stumble across an intruder on thier patch! Our poor new visitor has been discovered by Hattie - one of our female badgers, we think the most 'senior' one, and the most dominant of the females. She makes it very clear that this is her patch and that the newcomer is not welcome. She shows some classic aggression tactics like the scraping of the ground and it ends in a scuffle. Most of the growling is coming from the newcomer we think trying to sound as scary as possible. Obviously we would like to help it out as it looks thin, but we don't really want to be encouraging it to come back if it is going to be attacked for trespassing! Channel Info... You have just found a clip from UKWildlifeCam! Our channel is a video diary of sorts, from an IP camera in a small yard and paddock in Somerset, England. Our videos are in date order (we are quite behind at the moment!), and simply show the wonderful creatures that visit us (usually) at night. This all started by accident. We feed the birds, and discovered, by chance, a badger feeding on the waste on the floor one night. This led us to wonder what else might be around, so we bought a camera, and have been absolutely amazed by what we have seen. We put scraps of food out, and peanuts, and then sit back and see who decides to visit!
