| Video Discription | Barangay Ermita is situated along the Cebu City foreshore behind the Carbon Market. My short walking tour was restricted to one street which is basically a dead end. The senses are quite easily overwhelmed by the amount of people and noise, with all manner of activities taking place along the street. The area is known as being one of the more depressed areas within the City. Locals say it's dangerous don't go there, however as always I found people to be very welcoming and friendly although somewhat surprised at my presence ! The amount of young children is considerable - seemingly everywhere playing all manner of games. Not surprisingly 2020 Census figures indicated that the highest population in Ermita is 10-14 yrs with 1,079 individuals amongst a population for the Barangay of 8,500 +. #walkingphilippines #walkingcebu #virtualwalking As usual with these videos there is no talking, or music, only a walking experience with the actual 3d recorded sounds from the street.
