| Video Discription | Sometimes we think about Barbecue being difficult, but it doesn't have to be! This Texas Homemade BBQ Sauce proves my point. Now you can wow your friends with a delicious BBQ Sauce made in your own backyard (well... in your kitchen.) Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons of butter 1/2 red onion 1 clove of garlic (or about 1 teaspoon) 1 cup of ketchup 1/2 cup of brown sugar 1/2 cup of lemon juice 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar 1 teaspoon of tomato paste 1 Tablespoon of yellow mustard 1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons of chili powder Add salt and pepper as desired (I didn't add any) Directions: Melt the butter in a saucepan on medium high heat. Add your onions and cook for about 3 minutes. Add your garlic and cook for 2 minutes stirring continuously. Add the rest of your ingredients and mix it together. Let it simmer until it reaches desired texture. To make the sauce smooth, run it through a blender. Or you can leave it chunky. Either way still tastes delicious! I lived in Texas for 3 years and I have come to love the way they Barbecue. This Homemade sauce brings back so many memories of eating delicious smoked pork with a home BBQ sauce on the side.
