| Video Discription | As per someone's request. This is common knowledge to many, but chapter 7 doesn't progress in a linear fashion. Rather, you can actually pull the needles in any order you want--yes, you can even go to Tanetane Island first. Obviously, the game points you towards the Chimera Lab and then Saturn Valley to make things significantly easier, but since when did I care about that? However, by going to Tanetane Island first, I'm also missing out on some items and equipment. More importantly, however, I don't have Love Beta, which definitely amps up the difficulty here. Since Boney can't deal any notable damage, his main role is to remove the Trio's shield, throw the Super Bomb (railway passage), the Bomb (bought one in chapter 5), and then heal as much as he can. The Trio have a massive 4000 HP; after bombs, I have to deplete about 3450 HP mainly with just Lucas's physical attacks, making this quite the challenge. You can buy Abalone Steaks and an Aloha Coat at Cerulean Beach. I wanted to make this video as authentic as possible, so I only brought 4 of them as most players won't bother to farm DP. What makes this fight very tough is that the Trio's PSI can inflict status effects: burn, freeze, and paralysis respectively. If Lucas gets struck by something when trying to heal it's game over, which is why I brought Aeolia's Momento as an insurance policy. Hopefully they'll only have a few hundred HP left when Lucas is revived, as you lose the Offense boost. I would also obviously suggest attempting this at a much higher level. Level 30-35 would be ideal; this way, Boney will always be able to outspeed the Trio as well as hit for more than 1 damage. Good luck. ptiLnZI3aqA |
