| Video Discription | As some (most?) of you may know Benedict came very close to starring in this video. If you didn't know, check out this article (also great interview with Ed) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/10859780/Ed-Sheeran-interview-I-dont-make-music-for-critics.html So some (most? all?) of us were a bit disappointed that this didn't happen so I thought I would try and make it happen. I tried to replace the puppet throughout with Ben. I can only apologise for the changes in time period, hair colour, location, clothes, etc. I did the best I could with what I had and my meagre editing skills (major respect to music video editors - those cuts are fast!) I am trying to copy the story of the music video (shot for shot in some places) not just telling the story of the song as I usually do. So if it seems a bit disjointed that is why. I was convinced there was a shot of Ben with Chinese lanterns over his head in Sherlock but it turns out that was a photo so that didn't work out. Also convinced myself the car in Sherlock was white and really wanted to make it appear Ed and Ben were in the same car but that totally didn't work. Kept wondering if I should do different things and make it better hence why this is well past the zeitgeist but thought better to just get it out there. A little part of me is pleased I just got to tag this Benedict Cumberbatch (Musical Artist) !! I love Ben and Ed so I hope neither of them is offended by this! The end of the video comes up with the album ad as I just vidded over the original to help match shots etc. I even managed to get a Sherlock reference in! ;) Spot it if u can!
