Dambulla cave temple : there are arts from 1st century before Christ, is a beautiful place. A great place to spend a half a day or even a day combine with dambulla town. We traveled to Colombo by train from Habarana station. you can book 1st and 2nd class tickets in the early morning or night trains, they are a bit faster too. We took the 9.45 mail train as it was convenient with children, and also an opportunity to film. Tickets costs about 600 rupees per person for 2nd class. That's slightly over a £1.
