Of course you could spend days on end exploring the countless incredible museums in Paris, but the Musée d'Orsay should be at the top of your list. You hear a lot about the Louvre and might find yourself thinking about the Louvre vs Musée d'Orsay, wondering which is more worthy of your time. While the Louvre is amazing - and it is! - I still recommend visiting the Musée d'Orsay, if you have to choose. Even if you don't consider yourself an art lover, I can almost guarantee you will recognize many of the paintings here. It's the largest collection of impressionist and post-impressionist art in the world (from 1848 to 1914) and includes some of the most famous paintings ever by artists like Van Gogh, Renoir, Monet, and Degas.
