This flyover is 11.7 km long which is the longest flyover was fully opened from July 2014 for traffic costing BDT 2,250 crore in the flyover project. It consists of 4 lane and 6 entry ramps and 7 exit ramps. This project was initiated to reduce the highly traffic congestions in Dhaka Chittagong Highway from Jatrabari to Gulistan. It connects 30 districts to the capital city Dhaka. The exit points includes chankharpool, bonggo market, tikatuli, Gulistan, wari, narinda, samibag, saydabad, jatrabari and kutubkhali. Orion group was the contractor which is now maintains the toll collection's and dhaka city corporation was supervised the work.
