This means that in order to really stand out from the rest of the wealthy, you have to be ultra wealthy. Luckily, Switzerland has plenty of offer the ultra elite, and their billionaires are taking advantage of it. Currently, there are about 40 billionaires living in Switzerland, according to Forbes. The country also has a favorable tax system, and the banking industry is pretty huge. Many of the country’s billionaires come from wealth, meaning they inherited it from their families. Some of these billionaires are pretty unconventional, meaning they’re not spending their money on just yachts and private jets. They’re giving back to the community with charitable donations to various organizations and universities. But, living in Switzerland doesn’t come cheap either.
