| Video Discription | Since its arrival in late 2017, BNSF Railway B40-8 #563 has been an elusive target to track down. It's been assigned to inaccessible yards and night shift locals, with some exceptions. Here are my only two catches of this Santa Fe-era, FDL-powered smoke generator. (The second clip was pretty ironic - the two GP60Bs were smoking more than the Dash 8!) Why is it an oddball? Well, it's the only one in the state and just look at it. The B40-8s have a shape that you won't find anywhere else. And then there's the headlight setup! That on its own is enough to classify it as an oddball.
