| Video Discription | Remote Island Boat Camping | Catch and Cook w/ @WildTouring In this episode, Eden, and Rohan, are accompanied by Cam Wild from Wild Touring, and his good mate 'Jonesy', as they embark on a fun filled island hopping and fishing adventure. Launching our two 17ft vessels side by side, it's westbound into the seas on day one as we catch ourselves some fresh fish for dinner, and aim our sights towards an island we'd been eyeing off for a while before the sun begins to set. Armed with a new tender kayak for the voyage, it was easy resting into the evening as we sat amongst the beautiful weather, the starry night, and an age old campfire as we enjoyed our fresh cooked fish dinners. Once our food had settled, it was now time to go for a wander and see what sea creatures would be lurking amongst the shallow pools of water trapped within the perimeter of the island at the valley of the low tide. Sure enough, we saw plenty of what we'd hoped, what we'd expected, and what we DID NOT EXPECT AT ALL! Sit tight as we bear witness to the intense looking "Jaw Fish" that has scarred our memories for life. What a creature! After a good nights rest in our swags, perched on top of the sandy hill, it was into the next morning where we'd woken up with no urgency at all, and eased our way into the day. Departing the island just short of 10am, we cruised around looking for a few extra fish, but with low visibility for diving and average conditions, we didn't have much to show for our troubles. We soon after decided to depart and head back towards the boat ramp to time our retrievals nicely with the tide. It was a bittersweet ride home, there's nothing more painful than heading home through glass off conditions, but the same could be said for rough conditions too. So with that, we took the weekend in stride for what it was, incredible scenery, beautiful waters, enjoyable company, and a slower than usual bite, but we had an absolute blast! Cheers to the fellas Cam and Jonesy, it was great to catch up with them and to be able to share these moments.
