ONE YEAR LATER!! https://youtu.be/0WRXMbTaF_w PART 2 READY NOW: https://youtu.be/aAaWfYsFsnU Saturday afternoon I decided to take my kids to the local skate park for some epic GoPro footage doing what we do best. Having the time of our lives! We had about two hours of blissful fun getting all kinds of great GoPro footage (which will be released later). We were just about to pack up for the day and go grab some Gatorade when we went for ONE LAST SHOT! Always a bad idea. In the opening shot of this video you will see how simple of a fall this was, however you will also HEAR a distinct and gut wrenchingly loud snap the moment I stumble. That would be the sound of my leg breaking in two places. First, a spiral fracture near my ankle. Spiral meaning basically twisting with such force until the bone breaks clean apart. The second break occurs when the stress from the first break releases just below my knee, breaking my leg again. The entire incident was caught on GoPro cameras with quite astonishing audio quality I might say! The majority of this video is shot by my seven year old son using a GoPro Hero4 Silver and a Feiyu Tech gimbal. He seriously did a professional grade job capturing the epic fail on GoPro. Because we have SO much great footage of the ordeal I've decided that rather than condense it down to a more easily consumable 3-4 minute recap, I would turn it into a four or five part series. Even if it just serves as my own personal journal of the events I would rather share more of it than less considering something like this doesn't happen often in my life ;) Next episode watch how I react when I find out it's broken in two places and will require emergency surgery!
