Day 2 in India: Patna and Rajgir.
We spend a night at Kolkata Airport to catch our flight to Patna at 9am, very tiring since most of us cannot sleep at all.
Then arrived at Patna Airport at 1PM, quite late because our flight delayed, and we will be taking our lunch at Ashokaram Temple, that is 2 hours. So it is going to be a very late lunch.
Along with our Journey, we will be visiting several Buddhist Temple, whether to spend a night, lunch or just taking a rest.
After finishing our lunch at the temple we do Sangha Dana.
Sangha Dana is an activity where people donate to Bhikkhu / Bhante ( Buddhist Monk ), Dana can be money, food, drinks or anything that can support Bhikkhu and the Temple.
Then continue with Chanting / Prayer and transfer of merit. so the transfer of merit means that all good things that we did transfer to relatives, to deities, or to all sentient beings.
we also try local snack called Khaja, it's quite good, there are two flavours, very salty and very sweet. the body is Crunchy and the shape is like a croissant, cost 120 Rupee /2.5 Kg per KG. Yes, it is per KG, not per piece. you need to try it!
We also see solidarity walk where hundreds of police and army walking down the street for 49 Indian Army that died in Kashmir. It is a very long line of people, they bring a candle and sign to commemorate them.
