| Video Discription | 👋 So after 18 months of waiting for the all new 2023 Nissan Z Performance with a manual transmission, what is the newest update on buying the Nissan Z? I have had the awesome opportunity to drive a few of the new Nissan Z cars, one with the 9 speed automatic and the other with the 6 speed manual. The Manual Performance Z was my plan to buy and I've been super excited about buying the new Nissan Z! However many times over the videos I filmed with them I mentioned I felt like the Z was a bit soft. It didn't feel like a tight nimble character filled sportscar. Z feels more like a GT sportscar that's catering towards the daily drivable aspects and a softer chassis. I know that the new Nismo Z is going to be the one that has the super tight chassis with much better handling and offer that wow factor. So going into buying the Nissan Z Performance I already know I'm just going to sell it as soon as the Nismo Z is available. However after letting that resonate for a few months and looking back when I owned a 370Z Sport/Touring and a Nismo 370Z. I loved the driving characteristics of my Nismo so much more than my Sport. The Nismo to me just had it all. The wow factor was there and I just loved how focused the car felt over the Sport trim and the car seems above and beyond. The new Z Performance reminds me of my 2012 Sport/Touring and just doesn't have a wow factor. So I've decided to cancel my Z Performance order and just wait until the Nismo is available because that's the Z I will truly want and fit my taste. I can't see spending so much money on a car I'm not 100% thrilled about. With that said, I bought a new car! A a manual sportscar popped up and just pushed me over the edge and relieved all of my doubts about buying the Z. This new mystery car is epic and offers everything I could ask for in a manual sportscar! When the Nismo Z comes out, I hope it can one up the new car and then I'll buy it.
