| Video Discription | A short film about a wonderful meeting of traditional Manx folklore and exciting new Manx art. For over a year Mark Kinrade worked on a series of 40 images, illustrating a series of folklore tales suggested by Culture Vannin. The commission from the charity set up to promote, support and celebrate Manx culture was to bring the traditional tales to new audiences, but the art created by Mark was too good not to receive its own exhibition. Here Mark Kinrade, representatives from the Isle Contemporary Gallery and Culture Vannin speak about the project, Manx folklore, and the success of these images in reaching to the unseen heart of these stories which lie all around us.
