| Video Discription | CC 201 83 31 merupakan lokomotif CC 201 generasi kedua yang didatangkan tahun 1983-1984 dengan ciri-ciri sama dengan CC 201 generasi pertama namun radiatornya berukuran lebih kecil. Selain itu kaca depannya berbentuk persegi dengan ujung-ujungnya yang lancip. Livery vintage yang sekarang dihadirkan kembali melalui CC 20 83 31 dahulu dipergunakan pada tahun 1953-1991 pada era Djawatan Kereta Api (DKA), Perusahaan Nasional Kereta API (PNKA) dan Perusahaan Jawatan Kereta Api (PJKA). Lokomotif ini pertama kali dialokasikan untuk Depo Lokomotif Bandung hingga 1991. Jalur yang dilintasi lokomotif ini awalnya jalur selatan Pulau Jawa yaitu Bandung-Yogyakarta-Surabaya dan Bandung-Jakarta. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu dan berpindah alokasi Depo Lokomotif maka hampir semua jalur di Pulau jawa sudah pernah dilintasi oleh lokomotif ini.
