| Video Discription | Today we will make a popular British national dish, chicken Tikka masala and a Samosa. In the first part of the video we will make my take on a healthy Filo pastry Samosa. This samosa recipe is quick to make and delicious. These are crispy and easy to make in the oven. In the second part of the video we will make a delicious creamy Chicken Tikka masala that is a British classic. I hope you enjoy these two Indian food recipes , thanks for watching. Ingredients Marinating the chicken Chicken breasts or chicken thighs 400g (feel free to add more or less) 4-5tbsp Plain Yogurt (just enough to cover the chicken) 1 tbsp Oil 2tsp Garlic 2tsp Ginger 1tsp Turmeric 1½ tsp Garam Masala ½ tsp Chilli 1 tsp Cumin Salt and Pepper to taste Chicken Tika Masala 1Tbsp Butter 1 large Onion or 2 small Salt and Pepper 2tsp Ginger 2tsp Garlic 1tsp Turmeric 1 tsp Ground coriander 1 tsp Garam Masala 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp chilli /Cayenne Pepper to taste 1 tin or small bottle of Tomato sauce + water if needed ( Alternatively 1 tbsp of tomato paste a handful of cut up tomatoes and water) 1 tsp sugar ¾ cup cream A handful of Fresh Parsley and Coriander Filo Pastry Samosa Ingredients Filo Pastry (3-4 sheets) 1 Onion 1Tbsp Coconut oil / 1Tbsp oil 1tsp (heaped) Ginger 1tsp (heaped) Garlic 1tsp Cumin 1tsp Chili Powder/cayenne pepper ½ tsp chilli flakes or a cut up chilli 1Tsp Coriander Powder 1tsp Garam masala 1tsp Turmeric (Optional extra/ Take it to another level, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, coriander seeds ) A handful of Fresh Coriander leaves 3 Potatoes Juice from ½ a Lemon 1 cup of garden peas 1Tbsp Melted Butter 180c Place your Filo Pastry Samosa into a preheated hot oven for about 15-20min.
