Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Pour chicken broth over the seasoned chicken. I flip the chicken upside down and then upright again before placing it on the lid. Place the lid on and cook on low for 6 hours, until the chicken shreds easily with a fork. Using two forks, shred the chicken (this can be done on a cutting board or right in the slow cooker). NOTES Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
