Feliciano, have revealed their third quarter investment activity and their plans for the club's stadium expansion. The Santa Monica based company announced one platform and three add-on transactions in the last quarter, including the acquisition of DreamBox Learning by their education technology asset Discovery Education. Clearlake Capital also backed BBB Industries to acquire Hydrualex and Crash Champions to acquire Terry Autobody and Towne Auto. The firm boasts over 400 companies under its bracket and has an investment worth over £57.5billion ($70bn). Two of its companies, Diligent and Ivanti, have been recognised as among the fastest growing companies in America by the Inc. 5000 list. On the football front, Clearlake Capital are part of the BlueCo ownership group that also includes American businessman Todd Boehly. The consortium bought Chelsea from Roman Abramovich in 2022 and have since spent big on new players, while also selling half a billion dollars of players and reducing the salaries by over $100million (£81.5million) a year. The new owners have faced some challenges and scrutiny in their first 15 months at the club, but they remain confident in their vision and strategy. They have appointed Mauricio Pochettino as the manager and secured a £40million ($51m) shirt sponsorship deal with Infinite Athlete, a new company formed by Tempus Ex Machina and Biocore. Infinite Athlete's CEO Charlie Ebersol praised the Chelsea owners for their understanding of the club and their partnership with the supporters. One of the key goals for the BlueCo group is to expand the capacity of Stamford Bridge, which is currently limited to 41,798 seats. The club recently announced the purchase of a 1.2 acre plot of land behind the West Stand at SW6, which could pave the way for a stadium redevelopment project.
