| Video Discription | Part 2 of 2 The no plan trip has us heading north finding some cool places. Of course being summer we were also looking for some awesome swimming spots. In this part we check out The Nymboida river, Dangar Falls then on to the pub with no beer. Finally getting lost in Boonanghi State Forest and finding some awesome water falls. After swimming in some of the clearest creek water we had ever seen out the back of Coffs. We headed out to the Nymboi-Binderay National Park for a guaranteed camp spot. Once jetting to the Junction Camp ground on the Nymboida we decided to camp right down on the river bank. This was one of my favourite campsites of the trip. From here we decided to head to the Waterfall Way and check out Dorigo and Dangar falls on the way. We didn’t spend much time up here as we had a pub to visit. A Pub? Well the Iconic “Pub With No Beer” Que Slim Dusty. In the middle of nowhere at Taylors Arm. The drive was well worth it for a few schooners in this Aussie pub with so much character. From here the plan was to head out to George's Junction Camping Ground. Unfortunately we got turned around because of road maintenance at the junction. With no idea on what we were going to do I had a quick look at my pinned want to go spots in google maps. We made the call to go find something I had marked as the Blow hole? But it was in the bush behind Kempsey. With nowhere else to go we had nothing to lose. This is where the adventure really stepped up a notch. Im still not 100% sure if we were in Boonanghi state forest or the Willi Willi National Park. Either way it was awesome. We were exploring disused 4wd tracks, crossing creeks and making our own way around countless obstacles. From fallen trees to washed out bridges and of course step and rutted tracks. Finally arriving at camp exhausted tiered and cranky we pretty much set up and crashed. In the morning we were marvelling at an awesome waterfall and a few hundred meters up the road there was an absolutely epic place to have a swim and refresh before the long drive home. fqaNgSPKa8I |
