The financial stakes are high and people often disagree over how committed their relationship was and when the relationship started and ended. You may be in a marriage-like relationship justifying support and property rights if you: Live, eat, sleep together, share household duties and services, buy gifts for each other, go on outings and trips together and/or have children together or even raise your partner's stepchildren.
