| Video Discription | A complete 50 mile scenic drive north on the Grand Mesa Scenic Byway in Colorado on CO Route 65. Our journey begins heading north on the byway in Mesa, CO 10 miles up to the north end of the byway at I-70, then we jump back to the far south end of the byway and head north 40 miles back to where we started. This drive was made in August, 2020. Smoke from the Pine Gulch wildfire north of Grand Junction, CO is visible in the second half of the video. At the time, it was the largest wildfire ever recorded in Colorado and it kept burning over a month after this drive was recorded. The fire wasn't 100% contained until late-September.
