| Video Discription | Here is a traditional Vedic technique used for counting mantras, using the hands instead of Malas (prayer beads). Traditionally, mantras are counted in terms of Malas (which have 108 beads), for a total of 108 repetitions. While many variations of counting on the fingers exist, this way has been documented in the Mantra Yoga Samhita, and I have found it to be particularly effective. New to mantra practice?
