| Video Discription | Hello everyone! This is the song "crashing down” by “tayrn". This is a downhearted ambient lofi song which seems to be composed by vocals, guitar, and pads. The song also seems to follow an INTRO The song starts off with the lyrics “Somehow you found your way to me, Weightless, This is how it's meant to feel” which suggests the first the artist felt love for his partner. Indeed, the word “weightless” would indicate about the way he felt when he saw his partner for the first time. Furthermore, “this is how it’s meant to feel” indicates that he never felt love ever before and that now that he is in love he could truly understand the sensations and emotions that are accompanied by it. The lines in the following verse “Hold me close when it all comes crashing down, Don't let go when you feel it hit the ground” suggests that he and his partner are going through a terrible time and that something terrible is going to occur in the future. In fact, the line “Don’t let go when you feel it hit the ground” indicates the artist is pleading his lover not to break up with him in case the situation of their relationship degrades. In fact, these lines reflect how much he is committed to the relationship and that he is willing to do anything to save his relationship with his soulmate. The lines “Don't forget that this feeling, Is what we're fighting for, This is what we're fighting for” further emphasizes that he is committed to fight anything/anyone and is reminding his partner to do the same. I really like vocals as they are very angelic and elevated. In fact, the softness and delicacy really add a sense of mystery and calmness to the song. The vocals also resonate very well and this partly due to the sound design: the reverb is impeccable in every aspect, the delay provides an angelic effect to the vocals and the EQ cuts off unwanted frequencies in order to shape the vocals. The guitar sound in the background is also something that caught the attention of my ears, in fact, the repetitive motion of the strings really adds a calming and relaxing tone to the song. The overall track is downhearted, and this is what makes it great. In fact, the delicacy, the softness and the evocable sensations are what really sets off this song from other similar songs. My vote for this song is a good 7/10. At the end, I find this song to be chill so I would recommend anyone to listen to this song if you are trying to chill, relax, meditate, sleep, unwind or for just thinking about life in peace.
