Here are Phil’s best tips on how to maximize the Unique planner… Name: Phil loves that you can put your name in the planner. He adds “reward if found” in the front of the planner as he’s already filling his with important notes. He’s willing to pay if it gets lost! Major Year Goals: What do you want to accomplish this year? This will remind you of the big picture items that are important to you. Habits to Develop: What habits do you want to focus on this year? Here’s a place to list the personal habits you want to hold yourself accountable to develop. Big Goals and Next Steps: Write out the big line items of your goals. There’s no need to go into deep detail; these are for reminders. Then, list three next steps to get you into the mode of actually doing those things that will move you towards your big goals. What are the next steps you need to do? Daily Pages: Here’s the meat of your day! The planner is flexible and will work for up to six-months, depending on your schedule. You don’t have to fill it out every day. Date: Phil left this blank so you can start the planner any day you want, or skip a day over the weekend or a holiday without wasting pages. Fill the date in and you’re ready to go. 3 Priorities: What are the three main things you need to do today? Personal List: Don’t forget your personal lives! Here’s a place to note the personal reminders for your day. Other Tasks: Here’s a place to list your other to-dos for the day outside of your main priorities. Key Calendar Events: 90% of us are using shared calendars in your workspace, so a full detailed calendar typically isn’t needed. Here’s where you can jot down those key events you want to be reminded of. Blank Page: The dot grid lets you draw or write – whatever you want! Use the flexibility to let your creative thoughts flow! Index: If you’ve notated something critical on a page, you can index it so you can easily find later.
