Sofia will explain how she landed in a non-whitecoat science role and how her job lets her explore her creativity, utilise her science knowledge and interact with people everyday. Sofia Casbolt is the Research Coordinator for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, a charity focused on funding medical research that accelerates treatments to people with brain cancer. Sofia studied science and anthropology at university, specialising in science communications. After finishing high school in 2006 she didn’t think she would end up studying science at university - let alone working in the field.
