| Video Discription | Kozhikode: Another custodial torture has come to light in Atholi in Kozhikode district. A youth was tortured in the lock up by the police after which he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. Balussery native Anoop bore the brunt of attack at the Atholi police station. He told the police that ASI Raghu tortured him inside the lock up. Anoop said from the hospital bed that police had reached his home and dragged him from the bathroom. When Anoop’s mother and wife tried to prevent them, the police abused the ladies. He was beaten inside the vehicle, his hair pulled out and dumped in the lock up naked. He was pinned towards the wall and kicked. Anoop, who was released on bail later, collapsed outside the station.
