| Video Discription | Winding through northeastern Turkey, this road was built in 1916 by Russian soldiers, linking Trabzon and Bayburt. This section is Derebaşı, the most scenic, just before the steep and numerous hairpin turns working their way up to 2000m. One house perches on the cliffside 'Derebaşı Dinlenme ve Konaklama Tesisleri' or 'Derebaşı rest stop', with a very friendly owner.
