Opened at the 28th of December, 2011. Also it is the closest subway station such a significant places of St. Petersburg, like The State Hermitage (Winter Palace), St Isaacs Cathedral and Admiralty. Being located nearby the metro station is named after The Admiralty. As the most of metro stations in Russia, is it named in adjective form (responds to the Russian question "which one (KAKAYA?) - AdmiralteysKAYA. The artistic design dedicated to the marine theme. There are four mosaic panels - The Admiralty, Neva, The Neptune and The Foundation of The Admiralty and one stained glass window. The platform of the station has a column-wall three arched structure.
