This story dates back to the 2022 season as Mark Drury and the guys get trail camera photos of a giant buck on a wide open tillable farm! After Matt Drury and Scott Heminger have a close encounter in early October, this buck was high on the Hitlist. The guys named this deer Matty Cakes and hunted hard for him the entire rest of the season to no avail. In rolls the 2023 season and this deer has BLOWN up. Sitting at the top of the hit-list the guys strategize ways to put them in the right spot for this deer. The team hunted hard all the way through season, unfortunately this story takes a sad turn during the late season as this buck disappears from the cameras and the crew gets a call from the neighbor.
