| Video Discription | #stripedhouse #demolished A house painted in red and white stripes has been completely knocked down. It will be replaced with a three-storey luxury home. In 2015, owner Zipporah Lisle-Mainwaring sparked a row after she did the paint job on her home in exclusive London's Kensington. But when Judges ordered her to return the house to its original white exterior colour she vowed to knock it down. A covered gaping hole has replaced the ‘candy stripe hut’ with building work going on behind it. Plans have since been approved to turn the home into a three-storey property, with a basement that will include space for a gym, treatment room and swimming pool.
