| Video Discription | Protecting the devil of the Mediterranean The Devil Ray (Mobula mobular) is an endangered species in the Mediterranean Sea, due to overfishing. Devil rays end up in nets as bycatch (unwanted) and as target species in some seasonal fisheries. Although it is protected regionally, it is still being illegally landed and sold in some countries.
