The poem/song describes a dark night's voyage of a helpless nation on a drowning ship swaying on the raging, stormy sea. The captain of the ship is the last hope for this dying people in the pit of peril, thus the poet addresses him to come forward and hold the mast of the boat strongly all through this deadly night. The current situation of madness and death and hopelessness and panic are so similar to the scene in this song. And we need brave people like the "Kandari/Captain" in this song. I believe and dearly hope that this song will inspire us all to stand strong against this tough time.
