| Video Discription | Rwanda’s representative to the East African Legislative Assembly, Martin Ngoga, has been elected as Speaker of the Regional assembly. Ngoga won by simple majority of thirty three votes beating his challenger from Burundi Leontine Nzeyimana who got three votes while Tanzania candidate Adam Kimbisa got zero. Kimbisa and Nzeyimana with all the members from Burundi and Tanzania including their respective ministers boycotted the voting.
