Mutton sukka and cooker? You must be wondering!! But believe me, it turns nice and just perfect. We are making it in 1 kilo proportion. The measurements are just perfect. This is a real quick recipe as we are making it in cooker. It looks nice and tempting and tastes super delicious. It needs less efforts and times. This is a very easy and simple recipe. With Akhad round the corner, this is a good option for you. Ingredients: • 1 kg Mutton • 3~4 sliced Onions • 2 Onions pureed • 1 cup Curd • 1 tsp Cumin powder • 3 tsp Red chili powder • 3 tsp Mutton masala • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder • 2 tsp Coriander powder • 1 tsp Kanda-Lasun masala • 1 1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste • Salt to taste • 100 gm Oil • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste • Finely chopped Coriander leaves • 1” Cinnamon stick • 1 black Cardamom • 2 green Cardamom • 1 Star anise • Bay leaves • Water as needed • Salt to taste Method: • Wash mutton really good 3-4 times and add curd, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, mutton masala, kanda-lasun masala, coriander powder and salt. • Mix it well together and rest for about an hour for marination. • Heat up oil a cooker and bay leaves, cinnamon, black and green cardamom, star anise and fry for few seconds. • Add onion and fry well until it gets nice golden color. • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry well. • Add onion puree and fry well until it gets nice golden color. • Add marinated mutton and mix everything well together. • Fry the mutton really good. • Add water and salt and mix well. • When the mixture begins to boil, add coriander leaves and mix well. • Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 2 whistles. • Add coriander leaves and Mutton sukka is ready. • Serve it with bhakri or chapati. It goes well with rice too.
