| Video Discription | How to convert a microwave oven transformer (MOT)into a 12VDC to 110v/120v AC simple square wave adjustable frequency power inverter. This inverter in this video is rated at 75 Watts using the current transistor/resistor setup. The stranded 10ga windings are capable of 300-400 Watts. In order to produce that much power, you would need to use more powerful transistors/mosfets, or add more transistors in parallel with the first set using a low resistance emitter balancing resistor(around .1 ohm/10W). The frequency output is between 150 and 230Hz(Value can vary depending on your setup).
