| Video Discription | Hi Everyone! One of my followers sent me a note asking why unsubscribe doesn't seem to work to stop junk, spam, and other unsolicited messages in your e-mail inbox. I thought this might make for a very useful video -- there is some bad news I have to share about using unsubscribe (it might actually make the problem worse!), and in this video I present a couple different options for how I deal with junk and spam email messages in both Microsoft Outlook and Gmail, via utilizing Rules and/or Block Sender in Microsoft and by using Filters and Blocked Addresses in the Settings in Gmail, as well as the Stop Sign icon in your Gmail inbox and folders. I also discuss the option of keeping/getting a separate e-mail address for the specific purpose of use for anything that might create/generate junk and spam. In short, don't use your work or personal e-mail address to sign up or buy anything on the Internet -- you will doom your inbox to be filled daily with junk and spam if you do. Specific tips for Outlook Rules and Blocked Senders in Quick Access Toolbar starts at 2:45 in the video. At 4:45 in the video, I show how to use Filters and Blocked Addresses in Gmail, as well as how to use the Stop Sign button.
